Shento Sessions

Shento (Maria Shenton) is a DJ and selector based in West Yorkshire, rooted in deep, soulful and underground house.

A record collector with a strong connection to vinyl, her sound draws heavily from lesser-known cuts from the ’90s and 2000s alongside deeper, stripped-back selections, always led by groove and feeling.

As a resident at RUDE Originals and founder of Dig Deep, she has played across a range of underground nights and venues, including Out In The Sticks at The Golden Lion, Todmorden.

Her selections have also gained recognition on Traxsource, with a chart reaching the Classic House DJ Top 10s.

Her approach remains consistent, tasteful, understated and driven by a genuine love for the music, blending warmth, rhythm and energy into every set.
