Sarah Violet is a self-taught, high-energy DJ, known for her infectious presence behind the decks and deep love of soulful disco and funky house. A long-time supporter of the London DJ scene, she was inspired to step behind the decks herself in 2018, quickly carving out a name through passion, consistency, and an ear for fresh, feel-good beats.
Recognised for her ability to uncover soulful gems, Sarah’s sets balance musical knowledge with pure dancefloor energy. Her ambition and determination saw her play across a range of respected events and venues including Soul Serious, Sushi Samba, Ibiza Anthems Brunch, ADE, Café Mambo London Brunches, Sugar Hut in Brentwood, Sisters of House, Jin Bo Law, and Q in Shoreditch.
Alongside her club work, Sarah hosted a successful soulful radio show for over three years, broadcasting on Vision Radio UK before moving to Select Radio.
Together with her partner Clarkson, Sarah co-founded DiscNoTheque — a disco, nu-disco, funky and soulful house party built on one simple rule: No Techno. With sold-out events at Basing House, Rolling Stock, Colours Hoxton, Orange Yard, and a showcase at ADE, DiscNoTheque quickly became a recognised name for inclusive, feel-good dancefloors.
After stepping away from the scene in 2021 to focus on work and recently becoming a mum to twins, Sarah returns with renewed energy, sharper musical direction, and the same dancefloor-first mindset — ready to pick up where she left off!
