Sunday Night Rhythm
MYSD is a Brighton-based DJ who has mastered the art of creating driving, fierce, and unforgettable house music experiences. Her sets are powered by a relentless 128 BPM rhythm, infused with high-octane energy, and always feature a moment of saxophone bliss—a signature touch that guarantees to captivate the crowd and hit the spot every time.
Known for weaving stories through sound, MYSD transforms every set into a journey where driving bass lines meet uplifting melodies that guarantee to bring the house down. Her mission is to create moments of unity and pure dance-floor magic that linger long after the last beat drops.
Starting her journey as a performance artist, theatre director, and dramatherapist, MYSD’s evolution into DJing was as natural as it was transformative.
Born from a desire to uplift and connect people during the pandemic, she quickly made waves in the scene, building a loyal following with her magnetic stage presence and undeniable passion for house music.
Drawing deeply from the spirit of the late ‘80s free party scene, MYSD champions the ethos of freedom, diversity, and unity. With over 35 years immersed in dance culture as a raver, promoter, and DJ, her wealth of experience shines in every meticulously curated set. Her sound is a celebration of jackin’ house and euphoric builds, delivering relentless grooves that drive bodies to the dance floor.
As a co-founder of 4ToTheFloor, Brighton’s premier house music collective, MYSD has helped shape the city’s vibrant music scene. Alongside fellow DJs and close friends MOV, Craig Nock, and Paul Hilditch, she has fostered a community built on love, celebration, and inclusivity, hosting sell-out events that resonate far beyond Brighton’s borders.
MYSD’s electrifying sets have lit up festivals like Shambala and Boomtown. She’s shared stages with many industry giants such as taking over from BUSHWACKA! and warming up for the legendary Grant Nelson. Next up, she’s proud to be promoting No.1 jackin house master Angelo Ferreri for Brighton’s Music Conference, raising money for the Last Night A DJ Saved My Life charity.
If you’re ready to lose yourself in the music, MYSD is the name to remember.
