and im finding everything sounds like theres too much mid range, so i googled them and rokits and cput them against each other and it said rokits are better , better bass and highs

yeah they are just solid. I've got 3 pairs. Just different ones I've bought over the years, all original though, not the re-issues. I also use an Auratone mono grotbox, that's amazing for hearing the midrange

@retrogroove If you don't need your speakers too loud I'd have a peep at the Ik's. They are my favourite speaker to work on. The clarity is unbelievable on them. They aren't super loud though, but that's not a bad thing for mixing.

@retrogroove yeah they sound waaaaaay bigger than they look. Not sure how they managed to get that sound out of something so small. Some genius engineering going on there. They are an absolute joy to work on. You can hear everything!

@retrogroove yeah the bass response is stupid for their size. They've got no business being that heavy. I use them with a sub though. Have a switching box so I can pop the sub in and out.

the price reflects the quality, they aint cheap but quite pricey considering size, like you said g amazing technology , modern as fook
